After the success of last year’s edition, the Lipari winery is renewing the festival, offering a musical program ranging from piano to cello, from dance to jazz. .
In the embrace of the “Anfiteatro” vineyard, with views of Alicudi, Filicudi, and Salina, the sunset returns as its soundtrack. Following the success of last year’s edition, Tenuta di Castellaro presents “Sunset Live Music,” with a new schedule of concerts scheduled from July 23 to September 10, 2026 , every Thursday, one hour before sunset.
” With this event,” explains Massimo Lentsch , owner of the winery, ” we want to offer an experience that goes beyond the concert. Tenuta di Castellaro is a place born from a profound respect for the Aeolian landscape and the belief that wine, culture, and beauty can interact naturally. The Sunset Concerts embody this vision .”
We have chosen artists capable of sensitively interpreting the spirit of this place, where every element—the sunset light, the sea, the vineyards, the silence, and the music—contributes to creating a unique experience. We want those who come to Castellaro to take away not just the memory of a concert, but that of a precious moment, in one of the most extraordinary landscapes of the Mediterranean .
Among the rows of vines and the silhouette of the islands illuminated by the evening light, each concert is designed to interact with the surrounding environment, in a uniquely evocative atmosphere. Artistic direction this year is again entrusted to Zō Centro Culture Contemporanee, which creates a program that explores diverse musical languages, from neoclassical music to jazz, from contemporary composition to sound research.
The festival will open on Thursday, July 23 , with pianist Domenico Quaceci’s Night Echoes , a solo piano recital that explores suspended atmospheres and interior landscapes. On July 30 , cellist, singer, and composer Bronagh Slevin will perform Rewilding , a project that intertwines Ireland and Sicily through voice, cello, and wind instruments. On August 6, pianist Rosario Di Leo and dancer Mariana Cerino Calazans will perform In Motion , a dialogue between music and movement.
On August 13th , Naomi Berrill will take the stage with Sea Warrior , in which cello and vocals move between jazz, folk and contemporary writing. August 20th will be dedicated to the meeting of piano and cello with Damiano Davide and Cecilia Costanzo , performers of Beyond the Silence . On August 27th , space will be given to the voice of Sissy Castrogiovanni Duo with Tra due mondi , a musical journey between Sicily and America. On September 3rd, Isabella Libra and Sonia Brex will present Resonances , a project that combines piano, synth, vocals and percussion; the series will conclude on Thursday, September 10th, with guitarist Luca Galeano and his Sound Session , dedicated to compositions inspired by the Mediterranean.
Each event will begin an hour before sunset, when the light slowly accompanies the sun toward the horizon and transforms the Anfiteatro vineyard into a natural stage. In case of inclement weather, the shows will be held in the Tenuta’s barrel cellar, maintaining the quality of the experience. Reservations are required at visit.tenutadicastellaro.it (where you can also find the exact start time of each concert) and include the entrance ticket and a welcome drink.
After each concert, upon reservation, the evening will continue on the terrace of the Castellaro Bistrot, where guests can enjoy a food and wine experience accompanied by the estate’s wines and a selection of music designed to prolong the experience.
With this new edition, Sunset Live Music confirms Tenuta di Castellaro’s intention to offer a high-profile cultural program, capable of enhancing the universal language of music and its connection to the territory that hosts it.
