Taking to the stage on Thursday 1 August will be a cast of 35 actors, all teenagers from Grosseto secondary schools and disabled children.
A theatrical show that will take spectators from the Grosseto Maremma to the slopes of Mount Olympus, among the gods of ancient Greece: Hercules: the Musical is scheduled for Thursday 1 August at 9.30 pm at the headquarters of Cantina Vignaioli Morellino di Scansano in Scansano (Grosseto).
A cast of 35 actors will take to the stage, all teenagers from Grosseto secondary schools and disabled children . The work, which represents the end-of-year performance after nine months of rehearsals and work, was produced and created by the Tuttiateatro APS association of Grosseto, which promotes social integration through art and theatre . Since 2004 it has involved more than 300 students from secondary schools in the province of Grosseto, organizing a theater workshop every year in which children can find a space without barriers by connecting different sensitivities. Everyone according to their possibilities is the motto of the association and means that each of the actors will have the opportunity to express themselves by enhancing the qualities they possess.
Preceding Hercules: the Musical there will be a visit to the cellar, scheduled for 7.30 pm, followed by a tasting of the cooperative’s wines accompanied by typical local products.
“We are happy to host the show of the Tuttiateatro company – declares Benedetto Grechi , President of the Cantina Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano – which involves disabled and non-disabled children together, all on stage. With this work they demonstrate that we can come together to build something capable of enhancing diversity. It is a spirit that we fully share, because in the end it is the same value that guides every cooperative that is committed to promoting the work of each member based on their possibilities”.
“Being able to make ourselves known to an important reality like that of Cantina Vignaioli Morellino di Scansano – continues Maria Giulia Pichenino , director and president of the company – is an opportunity that excites and honors us. Performing in a different setting, with an audience that does not yet know our association, is a challenge that we can’t wait to face.”
The entry cost of the ticket for the evening is equal to 20 euros for adults and includes the visit to the cellar rooms, the tasting and the show, while for children aged 6 to 17 the ticket is equal to 15 euros.
