From 21st to 24th and from 28th to 30th August 2025, seven days of wine, culture and territory.
Tarquinia is preparing to host the 19th edition of DiVino Etrusco, scheduled for Thursday the 21st to Sunday the 24th and from Thursday the 28th to Saturday the 30th of August 2025. This event, one of the most anticipated of the summer, celebrates the profound connection between wine and Etruscan cultural heritage, transforming the historic center into an evocative food and wine and cultural itinerary for seven evenings.
A taste journey through the streets of Tarquinia. The event features wineries from the historic Etruscan Dodecapolis—the confederation of the twelve most important city-states of the ancient Etruscan world—which will offer tastings of a selection of excellent wines. The tastings will be curated by sommeliers from the Viterbo branch of FISAR, ensuring a knowledgeable and qualified approach to wine culture.
Entertainment, art, and widespread culture. In addition to the wine offerings, the festival will offer a rich program of concerts, art installations, literary gatherings, exhibitions, live performances, and guided tours every evening, contributing to a fully immersive experience. A wide selection of quality street food will also be available, with gastronomic options designed to showcase the wines being tasted.
Sardinia, special guest of the 2025 edition. Among this year’s new features is a space dedicated to the wines of Sardinia, an island historically linked to maritime trade with the Etruscans. Sardinian wineries will present a selection of labels representative of the region, in an ideal oenological and cultural dialogue between two Mediterranean regions.
A shared project, Il DiVino Etrusco is promoted and organized by the Municipality of Tarquinia, in collaboration with the Pro Loco Tarquinia and food and wine expert Carlo Zucchetti, with financial support from the Lazio Region and the patronage of the Province of Viterbo, the Rieti-Viterbo Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Culture – Archaeological Park of Cerveteri and Tarquinia. This network of institutional synergies demonstrates the festival’s importance as an event promoting culture and tourism for the area.
Information and Updates The detailed program, list of participating wineries, events, route map, and ticket information will soon be available on the official DiVino Etrusco Facebook page.
