Wine tastings and stands featuring typical Lucanian products, accompanied by a concert by Roy Paci. For enthusiasts, a masterclass on Italian underwater wines.

On Sunday, August 10th , starting at 8:00 PM, a popular event returns to the Vulture area: the 12th edition of Riflessi di Stelle , the wine tourism, music, and astronomical event at Cantina di Venosa (PZ), which attracts thousands of people every year. Musician Roy Paci , accompanied by his band Aretuska, will get the festive crowds expected in Venosa dancing and having fun.

The Riflessi di Stelle 2025 program also includes a master class on Italian underwater wines , featuring a comparison with the special “Carato Venusio” Aglianico del Vulture from Cantina di Venosa, cellared 50 meters below the seabed of Portofino. From the province of Brindisi, there will be the “Mormora” classic method, in both terrestrial and underwater versions from Cantine PaoloLeo; from Brescia, there will be “Zero Estremo Adamadus” and “Nautilus Cru Storico” from Azienda Agricola Valle Camonica; from the sea of the Riviera Romagnola, there will be a tasting of the rosé “Ostrea in fundu” from Tenuta del Paguro; and from Bolgheri, the “Volante” from Tenuta Campo al Signore.

Riflessi di Stelle is much more than an event: it is the expression of the profound bond between our territory, its winemaking and cultural excellence, and its ability to attract people. This year, thanks to the captivating music of Roy Paci and a unique tasting of underwater wines, we celebrate Aglianico del Vulture in a dimension that combines tradition and innovation. We are immensely proud to once again welcome the public to our winery, in the heart of Vulture, to experience a magical night together under the stars ,” Francesco Perillo, President of Cantina di Venosa .

Trumpeter and composer Roy Paci , born in Augusta in 1969, began his musical journey at a very young age: at just thirteen he became first trumpet player in the town band and began performing in Italy’s leading jazz venues. After a long period spent in South America, where he collaborated with important figures in the local music scene, he returned to Italy in the late 1990s. Since then he has established himself nationally and internationally, playing with Italian ska, reggae, and folk rock groups. In 1999 he founded Roy Paci & Aretuska , a ska-jazz band that reached a mainstream audience with the single “Toda joia toda beleza” (2007). With a career spanning over twenty-five years, Roy Paci has taken part in numerous projects ranging from music to theater, from film to television. His collaborations include artists such as Vinicio Capossela, Mau Mau, Negrita, Piero Pelù, Samuele Bersani, Giorgio Conte, 99 Posse, Subsonica, Marlene Kuntz, Daniele Silvestri, Gogol Bordello, Manu Chao, Eric Mingus, Trilok Gurtu and Tony Levin.

Admission to the event is free, but a €10 ticket is required for a free tasting of Cantina di Venosa wines at the tasting table . This ticket includes a bib, glass, and two wines to sample. The tasting includes: the three “Verbo” wines (white, rosé, and red); the white “D’Avalos” (100% Malvasia); the red “Terre di Orazio” Aglianico del Vulture DOP; the “Terre di Orazio” rosé; and the sparkling “Virgola Brut.”

The tastings can be combined with gourmet sandwiches from the Gaudete restaurant, tasty dishes from the Al Baliaggio restaurant and the renowned desserts from the Antica Pasticceria Ducale, all from Venosa.
