MEETING IN THE NAME OF BEAUTY

Fondazione Canova Onlus and Consorzio Asolo Montello join forces to tell the world about an extraordinary territory.

With the signing of a three-year agreement that sees the Consortium become a supporting sponsor of the Foundation, Fondazione Canova Onlus and Consorzio Asolo Montello toast to an agreement that celebrates art and the territory.

A collaboration born from shared values and a deep love for beauty, with the aim of telling the true soul of the Asolo hills, where nature, culture and identity intertwine in a unique story.

This is a strongly desired partnership, which unites two local excellences under the banner of cultural identity . Possagno, the homeland of Antonio Canova, the greatest interpreter of Neoclassicism, is also one of the municipalities of the Asolo Prosecco Superiore denomination; it is precisely from these hills, where the roots of the vine sink, that Canova obtained the clay for his sketches. An authentic bond, made of the same land, which is renewed today in this partnership.

What unites the two realities is not only the territory, but also the international vocation . Just as the great artist worked for clients from all over Europe, where he left traces of his passage with works that have marked the history of Art, Asolo Prosecco Superiore wants to be an ambassador of these hills beyond their borders. Elegant and distinctive, it is capable of telling the preciousness of the places where it is born through every glass.

Starting this year, Asolo Prosecco Superiore Docg will be the official wine of events promoted by the Gypsotheca Antonio Canova in Possagno. During special occasions, guests of the Gypsotheca will be welcomed with a glass of Asolo Prosecco Superiore Docg, for a taste of the territory that gave birth to a universal genius of art.

< – says Massimo Zanetti, President of the Canova Onlus Foundation. – The link between art and territory is an integral part of our mission, and finding in the Asolo Montello Consortium a sensitive partner who is attentive to these values allows us to promote Antonio Canova’s legacy with even greater force, not only in Possagno but also on the international scene.»

“Being able to be a supporting sponsor of the Antonio Canova Foundation is a source of great satisfaction for us, ” says Michele Noal, President of the Asolo Montello Consortium. ” It is a great honor to be able to support such a prestigious institution and offer all visitors a glass of Asolo Prosecco Superiore Docg. Admiring a work of art arouses deep emotions, and we like to think that our wine can also contribute to making the experience even more memorable.”
