TASTE ALTO PIEMONTE | GREAT EXPECTATIONS FOR THE EVENT ON NOVEMBER

Taste Alto Piemonte 2025, scheduled for Sunday, November 9th and Monday, November 10th, at the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées in Stresa, on Lake Maggiore. The event, organized by the Consorzio Tutela Nebbioli Alto Piemonte, will offer an opportunity to learn more about the appellations, producers, and wines that represent the winemaking identity of Alto Piemonte.

The magnificent setting of Stresa is preparing to host Taste Alto Piemonte 2025 , scheduled for Sunday 9th and Monday 10th November in the splendid setting of the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées in Stresa , on Lake Maggiore. The event, promoted by the Consorzio Tutela Nebbioli Alto Piemonte , represents the most important moment of the year to get to know the denominations, producers, and wines that express the extraordinary oenological identity of Alto Piemonte.

It’s the moment when our region presents itself to the public with passion and pride, combining history, hard work, and the prospects for shared growth.

There’s great enthusiasm for this edition ,” adds Lorella Zoppis, vice president of the Consortium.The masterclasses offered and the wide participation of producers demonstrate our desire to introduce our region to an international audience. Taste Alto Piemonte is an opportunity to experience our identity up close, made up of winemakers, landscapes, and wines that speak of authenticity and terroir .”

Over 50 wineries will be featured in the 2025 edition, representing the Boca DOC, Bramaterra DOC, Colline Novaresi DOC, Coste della Sesia DOC, Fara DOC, Gattinara DOCG, Ghemme DOCG, Lessona DOC, Sizzano DOC, and Valli Ossolane DOC appellations . This unique panorama will allow visitors to discover the diversity of terroirs, the diverse interpretations of Nebbiolo, and the qualitative evolution of a region increasingly appreciated nationally and internationally.

Alongside the tastings, the program will be enriched by a prestigious series of masterclasses . Five meetings will take place between Sunday and Monday, offering insights into the specificities of Northern Piedmont Nebbiolos and vertical tastings dedicated to the most representative crus. This learning journey is designed for professionals, operators, and wine lovers who wish to delve deeper into the many nuances of the region and its wines.

A temporary wine shop will also be set up within the event, where it will be possible to purchase wines for tasting. At the tasting tables, producers will share their experiences firsthand, demonstrating the profound bond between wine, territory, and community.

For industry professionals, entry to the tasting tables will be free upon registration on the event’s official website, where you can obtain an accreditation code, or directly on site during the event.

This year, Taste Alto Piemonte is also enriched with widespread initiatives that will transform the entire region into a great tasting itinerary. From October 27th to November 9th , Wine Weeks will enliven restaurants, osterias, wine bars, and wineries in the provinces of Novara, Vercelli, Biella, and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, offering wines from the Alto Piemonte appellations on their menus and by the glass. This project is designed to engage the public and offer a collaborative and participatory wine experience. There will also be special collaborations that intertwine the world of wine with tourism, sports, and nature.

Thanks to the Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway , travellers on the famous Foliage Train will be able to enjoy a discount on entry to the event by showing their train ticket at the event ticket office – an ideal bridge between the colours of autumn and the scents of wine.

The Lago Maggiore Marathon is also part of the program: participants will find in their race pack a gift voucher for free entry to Taste Alto Piemonte on the morning of Sunday, November 9th, combining the adrenaline rush of running with the pleasure of a glass of wine.

Two days to taste, discuss, and celebrate the Nebbiolo wines of Alto Piemonte in a setting of rare elegance on the shores of Lake Maggiore.
