On stage the winner of the Hospitality Award – Inclusivity and Hospitality.
HOSPITALITY – THE HOSPITALITY FAIR BRINGS ACCESSIBLE HOSPITALITY TO THE WE MAKE FUTURE FESTIVAL IN BOLOGNA WITH THE “DI OGNUNO” PROJECT.
Hospitality – The Hospitality Fair , the leading international event in Italy for the hotel and restaurant industry, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, takes another step in promoting increasingly inclusive hospitality: from 4 to 6 June it will be at BolognaFiere among the protagonists of the We Make Future Festival, the largest Italian fair dedicated to digital innovation, with its DI OGNUNO project, an immersive and innovative space that promotes accessible hospitality, designed for everyone (Pavilion 30 stand B38 / A35).
The result of the collaboration with Lombardini22 and Village for all – V4A® , DI OGNUNO offers a sensory experience that allows visitors to understand the value of inclusive design. Since 2024, at each edition of the Hospitality fair, the initiative has placed a representative hospitality environment at the center of the reflection; this year, the breakfast room . The path compares two contrasting contexts: one created with discomfort logic and one that instead enhances comfort, physical, sensory and food accessibility. The goal is to concretely highlight how design choices can hinder or improve the guest experience.
Grand finale for “Hospitality Award – Inclusivity and Hospitality” , the initiative promoted in collaboration with WMF to give visibility to concrete projects capable of breaking down barriers – physical, sensorial, cognitive, food and cultural – making hospitality more inclusive and aware. Numerous nominations arrived from all over Italy from campsites, glamping, B&Bs, guest houses, agritourisms, hotels and event locations. The winner, chosen by the commission for his/her contribution to inclusive and universal hospitality, will be revealed on Friday 6 June at 11:30 on Stage 3 – Tourism, Pavilion 22 of BolognaFiere where he/she will illustrate his/her project and receive the award from Alessandra Albarelli , General Manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi.
” Inclusiveness in hospitality, whether it’s a hotel, bar, restaurant or campsite, is a value for both the guest and the people who work in this sector, ” explains Alessandra Albarelli, General Manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, the organizer of Hospitality. “We work to give an increasingly wider audience the opportunity to experience the DI OGNUNO project. Visitors to We Make Future will also be able to immerse themselves in a unique experience and understand the profound meaning of inclusiveness – not just by observing it, but by living it. We are proud to reward those who, with commitment and passion, transform accessibility into concrete value for the sector and for society.”
The jury, made up of experts in hospitality, accessibility, inclusive design and innovation, and composed of Roberto Vitali, CEO and co-founder of Village for all – V4A , a company specialized in Accessible Hospitality, Giovanna Voltolini, Exhibition Manager of Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza , Domenico Castaldo, Innovation Manager Search On Media Group . The applications were evaluated on the basis of four criteria: concrete impact on accessibility and inclusiveness for guests ; degree of technological, managerial or experiential innovation ; sustainability and replicability of the proposed model; quality of communication of the project.
The DI OGNUNO project and the Award are part of a broader vision of Hospitality that aims at a cultural transformation of hospitality: a more responsible, fair and innovative approach, capable of generating positive impact, economic and social value and new growth opportunities for the entire hospitality sector. The company that wins the Award will also be a protagonist of the 50th edition of Hospitality – Il Salone dell’Accoglienza , scheduled in Riva del Garda from 2 to 5 February 2026.
DI OGNUNO at the WMF Festival is made possible with the contribution of our technical partner Go Green Design, a company specialized in the design and construction of installations for events and fairs, and with the support of Alma Moquette, Azzolini, Delta Ceramiche, Iiriti Service and Performa. The experience at the fair is organized with the collaboration of the Associazione La Girobussola.
