A n itinerary to discover a unique territory with visits to wineries, flavors andlandscapes.

Great anticipation is building for the twenty-fourth edition of Profumi di Mosto , the multi-day event celebrating the grape harvest through a unique itinerary of wines, flavors, and landscapes in the Valtènesi region. A journey along the Brescia shore of Lake Garda, visiting twenty-five wineries that will open their doors to guide visitors through an extraordinary region, where the Mediterranean microclimate meets hills and villages suspended between the lake and the sky. On the hills between Desenzano and San Felice del Benaco, through the inland towns (Calvagese, Bedizzole, and Puegnago) and the coastal towns (Moniga, Manerba, and Padenghe), guests will be led on an experiential tour to discover wines produced primarily with the native Groppello and Tuchì grape varieties.

Profumi di Mosto represents a special moment for us: we open the doors of our cellars and the surrounding area to welcome those who wish to experience Valtènesi and its winemaking vocation up close, ” says Paolo Pasini , President of the Valtènesi Consortium. This land, suspended between the lake and the hills, preserves a tradition that translates into refined wines deeply rooted in their place of origin. Each glass reflects the Mediterranean character of the Garda Riviera and the work of our producers: a heritage we want to share with those seeking authentic, quality experiences .”

At each winery, participants will find three wines for tasting, paired with a food tasting designed to highlight their aromas and distinctive character. You can freely create your own itinerary or follow one of the three-stop themed tours, designed to showcase the diverse aspects of the Valtènesi, from the lakeside views to the inland hills. Nine tours: bay leaves, basil, lemon verbena, marjoram, lemon balm, oregano, rosemary, sage, and thyme, each with unique characteristics that reflect the identities of the wineries.

The 2025 edition also features an exclusive event: those who purchase a ticket for two wineries or a three-stage tour will have access to a special tasting day on October 19th at the Casa del Vino , where all the labels of the Valtènesi denomination will be offered for tasting. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the wines that best convey the history, memory, and identity of this noble and profound land.

Participating in Profumi di Mosto means enjoying a truly sensory experience: the aromas of must and wine blend with the flavors of traditional cuisine, in the unique atmosphere of the grape harvest amidst the hills and views of Lake Garda. It’s an invitation to slow tourism, a relaxed journey from winery to winery that allows you to discover unique villages and landscapes, savoring the region firsthand. But above all, it’s an opportunity to connect with a local area: not just tastings, but also direct encounters with producers, the exchange of stories and values, the discovery of traditional products, and the authentic hospitality that makes Valtènesi a place to experience with all your senses.

TERRE D’AENÒR AND PESERICO: A NEW DIALOGUE BETWEEN FASHION AND WINE AT MILAN FASHION WEEK SS2026

Terre d’Aenòr and Peserico: emotions to taste, elegance to wear.

On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week SS 2026, an unprecedented dialogue between fashion and wine began yesterday: Peserico and Terre d’Aenòr combined their excellence in a collaboration that celebrates Italian tailoring art and winemaking savoir-faire.

In the enchanting setting of Franciacorta, where nature and tradition intertwine in a balance of beauty and dedication, Terre d’Aenòr was born: a 100% organic winery founded in 2018 by Eleonora Bianchi, who transformed her vision into a winemaking project capable of combining sustainability, quality, and creativity. Her wines thus become ambassadors of an authentic lifestyle, founded on respect for the land and the pursuit of excellence.

Similarly, Peserico’s SS26 Aurea collection enchanted the public, drawing inspiration from the enchantment of nature awakening, following the perfect rhythm of darkness and light, sun and rain, stillness and activity. This philosophy is expressed in the timeless elegance of its collections, where each piece reflects Italian sartorial style, the fruit of a history and tradition deeply rooted in the region.

Sealing this union and accompanying the SS26 Aurea Collection fashion show was Terre d’Aenòr’s Franciacorta Extra Brut Millesimato , an elegant and sophisticated sparkling wine that symbolizes the intersection of taste and style. A wine that, like a Peserico dress, preserves purity and balance, transforming every sip into an experience of beauty.

Two different worlds, yet guided by the same harmony: for Terre d’Aenòr, it’s the result of caring for each grape, from the vineyard to the cellar; for Peserico, quality is the result of the sartorial style of its collections. Fashion and wine have thus proven to be parallel languages, united by common values: refinement, sustainability, and authentic Made in Italy.

Yesterday’s show wasn’t just a fashion show, but a true manifesto of beauty and style, where the pleasures of taste and elegance merged into a single sensory experience.

The seventh edition of the Dutch event Radici del Sud returns from 21 to 23 October 2025.

“Southern wines meet the European market”.

The renewed event , in collaboration with the Fiko restaurant, journalist Fred Nijhuis, and Radici del Sud , who spare no effort to contribute to the knowledge and dissemination of Southern Italian wines, will be held from October 21 to 23, 2025, at journalist Fred Nijhuis’s tasting room in the municipality of Tuil and at the Fiko restaurant in central Amsterdam . As usual, they will foster encounters between Southern Italian wines, operators, journalists, restaurateurs, and wine enthusiasts from all over the Netherlands.

Nicola Campanile, organizer of Radici del Sud, reiterates what he said at the last edition of Radici del Sud in June: “The presence of labels from almost all southern regions, from both small and large producers, is increasingly widespread in Northern Europe, thanks to the increased participation of wineries in fairs and events abroad, not to mention the significant improvement in quality in recent years.” Finally, it should be noted that although the quality of our wines is widely recognized abroad, the process of positioning them outside of Italy requires incisiveness and continuity in the target markets, both in terms of promotion and marketing, in order to bridge the gap with other national and international producers who have already established themselves on foreign markets for longer.

The event’s program includes a seminar on Southern Italian wines on October 21st, from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Each registered winery will participate with a wine selected by journalist Fred Nijhuis. The seminar will be open to an audience of professionals, journalists, and restaurateurs selected through the journalist’s platform. Access is by invitation only or by booking on the website https://www.fred-nijhuis.nl/ , subject to availability.

On October 23rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the tasting tables will open , offering approximately 50 wines for free tasting at the Italian restaurant Fiko . The tasting is open to wine-lovers, industry professionals, and journalists. To book, simply email hr@fikissimoamsterdam.com or call +39 31(6) 851 43092.

Wine producers wishing to participate should click on the website www.radicidelsud.it and then on the relevant banner.

ASOLO MONTELLO CELEBRATES WINE, BEAUTY, AND TERRITORY

On October 12th, the Asolo Prosecco DOCG, Montello DOCG, and Montello Asolo DOC will be the protagonists in the splendid Villa di Maser (TV), designed by Andrea Palladio.

Can wine interpret the “beauty” of Italy, which the entire world admires?

The answer is yes, because it comes from passion, craftsmanship, and a love for all that is beautiful and good, characteristics that represent our country. This message will be conveyed by the event “Elevate your choice – Wine, beauty and territory ,” which on October 12th from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. will open the doors of one of the most monumental villas designed by Andrea Palladio, Villa di Maser , in the heart of the Asolo Montello area, which the architect wanted to make an integral part of the landscape. This event, organized by the Consorzio di Tutela Asolo Montello, is designed to promote the Asolo Prosecco DOCG, Montello DOCG, and Montello Asolo DOC designations of origin.

The connection between wine, its place of production, and the work of man, at the heart of the appellation concept, will be the guiding thread of a day dedicated to beauty . A beauty made tangible by the chosen location, which combines the ingenuity of Palladio the architect with the grace of the frescoes by the great sixteenth-century painter Paolo Veronese. The villa represents a unique example of Palladio’s work: its location at the foot of the Maser hills and its perspective establish a dialogue with nature and the vineyards, making it an integral part of the surrounding territory. The villa’s two splendid barchesse, designed as a country residence, will host forty producers from the three appellations , present in person to tell their stories.

Beauty will also be the theme of the two tastings at “Il Salotto della Bellezza” (The Beauty Salon) , led by Armando Castagno , journalist, writer, and professor of Art History and Terroir Geography at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo. The first, “Five Centuries of Venetian Art: Rhythm, Material, Composition, Harmony,” will be dedicated to Asolo Prosecco DOCG and will take place at 11:30 a.m.; the second, “The Venetian Renaissance: Color, Shadows, Mystery, and Pathos,” will be held at 3:30 p.m. This will feature tastings of Montello DOCG and Montello Asolo DOC red wines, some made from Recantina grapes, the area’s native grape, and others from Bordeaux blends (Cabernet and Merlot), a grape variety now widespread in Italy but originally developed here. The day will conclude with an aperitif featuring a specially created signature cocktail and a DJ set and saxophonist (starting at 6 p.m.).

The event, organized by the Asolo Montello Wine Consortium, will be an opportunity to celebrate its fortieth anniversary . In addition to tasting wines and meeting the producers, touring the villa, and participating in two seminars, visitors will be able to discover small local producers from our region (PPL Veneto).

The event will also be the perfect opportunity for those who want to discover a land where beauty, authenticity, high-quality food and wine , and extraordinary cultural sites converge. A prime example is the village of Asolo, the “city of a hundred horizons” : a destination for authors and writers from around the world, this small town perched in the Treviso hills, also chosen as a residence by the Cornaro family, is a small wonder of narrow streets, breathtaking views, historic sites, and exclusive shops. Less than 15 minutes from Asolo is Possagno , the birthplace of Antonio Canova ; here, in addition to the Canova Temple, is also the birthplace of the great sculptor, now a museum housing, along with his drawings and paintings, plaster casts of his sculptures.

In addition to Asolo, the area’s identity is tied to Montello , home to the Montello DOCG and Montello Asolo DOC still wines. Known as the “Forest of the Serenissima,” during the time of the Venetian Republic, it supplied wood for boats and palaces and, along with Asolo, was already famous for its wines, which were taxed more than those in the rest of Italy. A symbol of these hills is the Abbey of Sant’Eustachio, in Nervesa della Battaglia, where Monsignor Giovanni Della Casa wrote his “Etiquette” in the 16th century. Montello is also one of the most significant sites of the First World War, where the Austrian advance was halted on the Piave River, marking the turning point of the conflict. This legacy is evidenced by the Great War trails, tourist itineraries immersed in nature that wind throughout the area.

For visitors arriving from outside the region, a wide range of accommodations allows you to stay overnight in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy: from B&Bs to historic homes and charming hotels, to family-run farmhouses.
