In the Garden of the Discalced Carmelites, the ninth edition of the initiative launched on Saturday, May 23rd, aims to showcase the five denominations protected by the Consorzio Vini Venezia.
On Saturday, May 23, Feel Venice 2026 returns to Venice, in the historic Mystical Garden of the Discalced Carmelites, to showcase the enological excellence of the wines of the Serenissima . Now in its ninth edition, the initiative aims to showcase the five denominations protected by the Consorzio Vini Venezia : DOCG Malanotte del Piave , DOCG Lison , DOC Venezia , DOC Lison Pramaggiore , and DOC Piave . From 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM, the public will be able to participate in tasting sessions to discover the labels of 20 selected wineries and take part in guided tastings to learn more about the wines produced in the provinces of Venice, Treviso, and Pordenone.
At Feel Venice 2026, enthusiasts, professionals, and tasters will be able to treat themselves to a wine journey through the lands of the Serenissima . The DOC Venezia wines bring to life the vineyards of the eastern Po Valley, nestled between the provinces of Venice and Treviso, framed to the north by the Dolomites and to the south by the lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. The DOCG Lison and DOC Lison Pramaggiore wines represent a historic viticultural area, just a few kilometers from the Venetian coast, bordered to the east by the Tagliamento River and to the west by the Livenza. Finally, the DOCG Malanotte del Piave and DOC Piave wines follow the course of the Piave River: from the northeastern border of the province of Treviso with Friuli to the hills of Conegliano and Montello, all the way to the hinterland of the city of Venice.
” Feel Venice is an invitation to experience the most authentic expression of the wines and the territory we represent,” explains Stefano Quaggio , director of the Consorzio Vini Venezia. “In this edition, we want to showcase the value of the appellations and the producers who celebrate their rich winemaking, history, and culture. Returning to a symbolic location for the lagoon city, which protects endangered varieties in its orchard , means creating an experience that unites the wines of the Serenissima, the work of its associated producers, and the identity and authenticity of a territory.”
During the day, it will also be possible to visit the secret garden preserved within the walls of the Convent of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers, strolling through the vegetable gardens, vineyards, and orchards tended by the Carmelite Friars, and the Church of Santa Maria di Nazareth , offering guests a journey that combines wine, art, and historical heritage. In the late afternoon, live musical entertainment will begin, accompanying the tastings, and from 8:00 PM, guests will be able to savor the culinary offerings organized by the Consorzio Vini Venezia.
Feel Venice 2026 costs €20 per person to attend , while the masterclasses are free. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Discalced Carmelite Friars to support the Giardino Mistico.
