With the 25th edition of the Best Gourmet Guide, Friuli Venezia Giulia confirms its leading role in the Alpe Adria food and wine scene, winning 6 awards of excellence out of a total of 12 between Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.
The award ceremony was hosted in Trieste, in the Salone di Rappresentanza of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region . The awards were presented by President Massimiliano Fedriga and the food and wine editor-critic Maurizio Potocnik .
“A result that tells who we are – said President Massimiliano Fedriga – a land of strong identities, authentic traditions and beauties to experience”.
A concept reiterated once again by Maurizio Potocnik and his panel of journalists and experts who have published 800 pages in the 25th edition of the Best Gourmet Guide by Club Magnar Ben Editore, dedicated to restaurants, wines and artisanal food in the context of the European macro-region of Alpe Adria which includes part of Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.
President Massimiliano Fedriga concluded with a special thanks to Maurizio Potocnik and his team who for thirty years have recognized and promoted the uniqueness of a territory where cultures and flavors have been intertwined for centuries and naturally with a thank you to all the actors behind this great success.
