WAITING FOR THE 2026 WINE SHOW ‘Tasting is discovering’ IV Edition 28 February – 2 March 2026 OGR Turin

Throughout the month of February, a packed calendar of events will be held in the city’s restaurants and venues, spanning the territories, histories and identities of Piedmont.

In February Turin becomes the stage for a food and wine journey that crosses the territories, stories and identities of Piedmont with the program of events “Waiting for the Salone del Vino Torino 2026” which It brings together restaurants, bistros, and wine bars with cellars, consortia, and producers representing the region’s diverse wine-growing areas.

After the first events in January, the series resumes on Wednesday, February 4th at the Silos Restaurant with “The Creativity of Silos Meets the Wines of Albugnano.” In this event, the restaurant’s modern and creative cuisine interacts with wines promoted by the Enoteca Regionale di Albugnano , guardian of the excellent wines between the Northern Asti area and the Turin hills. These wines are presented through glasses that evoke history, landscapes, and traditions.

The following day, Thursday , February 5th , the Cubique restaurant hosts “The Flavors of Cubique Meet the Glasses of the Ceste Winery.” A tasting of their most iconic dishes, combining the restaurant’s technical and precise cuisine with wines from Ceste , a historic winery in Govone, capable of interpreting the Langhe and Roero with elegance and coherence.

Tuesday, February 10th , it’s Rossorubino ‘s turn, a restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Turin. A casual yet refined setting, where seasonal dishes and a carefully selected wine list complement the guest producer’s stories. The evening will be hosted by Cantina Dellerba, a young, sustainable winery whose wines tell the story of the Pinerolo area and its unique terroir.

On Wednesday, February 11th, the journey moves to the Canavese area with Tasting the Territory: Cantina Alberand al Barotto . At Barotto , a convivial and welcoming atmosphere, the wines of the Alberand Farm showcase family-run, artisanal viticulture, based on manual harvests and respect for tradition. The menu is à la carte.

On Thursday, February 12th, we return to authentic tradition at Madama Piola , a symbol of Piedmontese cuisine. This special evening is the result of a collaboration with one of the restaurant’s partner wineries, designed to celebrate the profound connection between the region, its cuisine, and the wines that tell its story, in a journey of flavor and sharing.

On Friday, February 13th, at Piola PoDiCiotto , overlooking the Po River and immersed in a convivial and authentic atmosphere, the event “PoDiCiotto nel Cuore delle Langhe” will take place. It will bring together the most authentic Piedmontese cuisine – made up of simple and comforting dishes – and the wines of the Luigi Tosa Farm , a historic winery in the Langhe that cultivates sunny, steep vineyards with an artisanal philosophy deeply rooted in the local area. An evening filled with the scent of home, sharing, and tradition.

On Tuesday, February 17th , Ballatoio Bistrot hosts “Calici in festa: Le More Bianche di Bovio Alessandro al Ballatoio.” Here, simple yet refined cuisine meets the wines of Le More Bianche di Bovio Alessandro , a restaurant that focuses on balance, identity, and authenticity, offering a sincere and direct tasting experience.

On Wednesday, February 18th , in the refined setting of Adelaide!, a restaurant in the heart of Turin, the ” Donne del Vino ” masterclass will be held: a meeting dedicated to the protagonists of the wine scene, including stories, tastings, and female perspectives. The evening will feature three guests: Agnese Caprioli for the Tommaso Cappa winery , Chiara Drocco of Cascina Adelaide , and Eleonora Costa for the Crealto winery.

Thursday, February 19th, is dedicated to Alto Monferrato with “From the Heart of Monferrato: Ovada Wines at the Table” at Antiche Sere . A restaurant that embodies Piedmontese tradition welcomes wines from the Consorzio di Tutela dell’Ovada DOCG , showcasing one of Piedmont’s great reds and learning about its historic vintages.

On Tuesday, February 24th, Rabaré will host “Rabarè X Consorzio Cocconato Riviera del Monferrato.” Contemporary Italian cuisine pairs with wines from the Consorzio Tutela Vini del Cocconato , an expression of a hilly region rich in identity and tradition.

The following day, Wednesday 25 February , Buatta hosts “Isola d’Asti in Calice” , a meeting between rustic and convivial cuisine and the wines of the Isola d’Asti producers , who tell the story of a denomination deeply linked to its history and to the work of local producers.

On Thursday, February 26, the journey continues at Vitel Etonné with the event ” Discovering the Langhe in a Glass .” In a casual yet refined setting, the culinary offering focuses on seasonality, quality ingredients, and artisanal fresh pasta. In this context, contemporary Piedmontese cuisine dialogues with wines promoted by the I Sörì di Diano Association , which promotes the sunniest vineyards of the Langhe as an authentic expression of biodiversity and territorial identity.

The series concludes on Friday, February 27th at Connubio with “Sorsi di Tradizione: Pinerolese al Connubio.” Here, the restaurant’s gastronomic creativity interacts with the wines of the Pinerolese DOC Consortium , which since 1996 has protected and promoted a viticulture rich in native varieties and distinctive styles.

Friday, February 13th, “The Night of Wines of Cantine d’Italia 2026” – Go Wine  

From 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, at Combo Torino, Go Wine is hosting an OFF event at the Salone del Vino Torino dedicated to the 2026 Cantine d’Italia Guide , featuring a tasting session featuring 20 wineries selected from various Italian regions. An evening of tastings and regional insights, with a special focus on the excellence of Piedmont.

Friday, February 20th, “The Red Night of Barbera”

The Red Night of Barbera , a project conceived and organized by the FEA Association , is a widespread festival of fine wine, excellent food, and plenty of new music. In collaboration with the Salone del Vino , it features music, merenda sinoira (a traditional snack), and top wineries to discover the latest talent in Italian music in a timeless atmosphere. The Red Night is an event to experience, in a pop and modern way, Piedmontese piola, the tradition of merenda sinoira, and the extraordinary Barbera grape.

Wednesday, February 25th “Wine as a Woman” – Masterclass from Combo

“Vino al Femminile” is a masterclass dedicated to companies founded by female entrepreneurs who have chosen to showcase Piedmont through wine: female-run wineries, stories of passion, territory, and vision. A journey through glasses and authentic voices, where wine becomes a symbol of innovation and inclusion. The masterclass will be presented by the Gringhigna winery, which combines sustainability and social inclusion, producing artisanal wines such as Barbera, Dolcetto, and Moscato that celebrate the connection between land and community.

Thursday, February 26th: “Giovani Gavi” – Combo Masterclass

“Giovani Gavi” is a masterclass dedicated to the producers of the Giovani Gavi Association, new and dynamic voices of Gavi DOCG. A tasting journey that recounts a historic territory through contemporary interpretations, combining identity, vision, and shared passion.

For the whole month of February and March 2026

The Royal Route of Turin Wines, in collaboration with the Salone del Vino, the Regional Wine Shop of the Province of Turin, with the involvement of the members of the Wine Shop and the Royal Route, the Municipalities of Pinerolo, Susa, Carema, and Chieri, and the FAI (Castello di Masino), and with the patronage of the Metropolitan City of Turin and the Consortium of Tourist Operators of the Canavese Valleys, has organized ” Discovering the Royal Route of Turin Wines ,” an experience to discover and enhance the region. The program includes five half-day events , each followed by an aperitif featuring wines and local products selected by the Regional Wine Shop for each region. The program is aimed at tour guides and wine lovers and will consist of a series of weekly events between February and March 2026.
