The conference will begin with a welcome address from Bruno Malavasi , President of the Consorzio del Vermouth di Torino . In collaboration with Director Pierstefano Berta, the press will be presented with production figures , market development, and future plans of the Consortium, recently recognized by MASAF as the sole body officially responsible for the protection, enhancement, and promotion of PGI Vermouth di Torino , an authentic expression of Piedmontese and Italian tradition. This will be followed by a guided tasting of the different styles of Vermouth di Torino.

At 2 pm , the Piedmontese botanicals used to make Vermouth di Torino will be discussed by Consortium President Bruno Malavasi and Marco Frandini, President of the Pancalieri Herbs Cooperative. This will be followed by a guided tasting of extracts from the different types of Artemisia used to make Vermouth di Torino.
At 3:30 pm, food pairing will take place . The world of intriguing pairings with Vermouth di Torino will be illustrated by Mauro Carosso , President of AIS Piemonte, and Pierstefano Berta . A guided tasting will follow.
At 5pm , with “The Words of Vermouth” , wine historian Giusi Mainardi will present the key words that tell the extraordinary life of Turin Vermouth.
In his invitation to participate in this event, President Bruno Malavasi stated : ” Now in its third year, this day, in addition to being a traditional event celebrating a Turin-based excellence, this year marks a pivotal moment in our Consortium’s young history. This is represented by the recent recognition by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry of our role in protecting and promoting PGI Vermouth/Vermut di Torino. Through its members, the Consortium represents the entire Vermouth di Torino supply chain, from field to bottle: from growers and herb collectors to recipe holders, processors, and bottlers. This ministerial recognition, which elevates the Consortium to the sole institutional interlocutor responsible for management, promotion, and, above all, oversight of compliance with the Regulations, commits us to continually inject new impetus into our initiatives .”
