An intense November, packed with opportunities to showcase the contemporary identity of Garda wine.
The Garda DOC Consortium will be the protagonist of five major events in the national wine scene, in Lombardy, Veneto, and Friuli Venezia Giulia, offering tastings of its wines and contributing to the debate on the new scenarios of Italian wine.
The calendar opens with Golosaria (Fiera Milano Rho, 1–3 November), where Garda DOC will participate in the AscoVilo group show with an institutional desk (stand W75) dedicated to the Lombard Consortia.
On Sunday, November 3, at 1:00 pm, the denomination will also be the protagonist of the masterclass “ Emerging areas and great classics: Lombardy in the bottle ,” led by Alessandro Ricci and Fabio Molinari: a choral tale of territories and grape varieties that express the variety and richness of Lombardy’s wine.
The journey continues in Friuli Venezia Giulia with RIVE 2025 – International Exhibition of Viticulture and Oenology (Pordenone Fair, 6 November), where the Consortium will be among the protagonists of the meeting “ Wine and consumption: the new instructions for use ”.
Organized in collaboration with the Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC delle Venezie and Assoenologi, the event will focus on low- and no-alcohol wines, analyzing market trends, regulatory perspectives, and processes in the vineyard and cellar. Speakers will include Michele Zanardo , National Vice President of Assoenologi and President of the National Committee for DOP and IGP Wines, Paolo Fiorini , President of the Garda DOC Consortium, Stefano Sequino , Director of the Consorzio delle Venezie DOC, and Lorenzo Tosi , Communications and Marketing Manager for VCR – Vivai Cooperativi Rauscedo.
Following, starting at 12:00, a blind tasting of six low- and no-alcohol labels selected from Garda DOC, DOC delle Venezie, and LEA Winery, conducted by Sissi Baratella for Assoenologi.
From November 6th to 9th, Garda DOC will be present at Fiera Cavalli (Verona), hosted by the Veneto Region stand, with a selection of labels representative of Garda production and a guided tasting open to the public.
A new stage of excellence awaits the Consortium at the Merano Wine Festival (Gourmet Arena, November 7–10), at table no. 81 of the AscoVilo collective, where professionals and enthusiasts can discover and taste the diverse nuances of Garda DOC.
The month will conclude in Milan , on November 17, with the 60th anniversary of the Union Internationale des Œnologues at the Royal Garden Hotel in Assago.
The wines of the denomination, present along with AscoVilo, will accompany the aperitif and institutional lunch of an event celebrating the value and culture of global winemaking.
A journey that crosses diverse territories, languages, and audiences, confirming the Garda DOC Consortium ‘s vocation as an ambassador for a dynamic, versatile wine style deeply rooted in its terroir.
