The “Three Days, Fifty Venues, One Wine” initiative kicks off today, October 10, 2025. Le Macchiole’s Bolgheri Rosso 2023 will be available for tasting at over fifty selected venues throughout Italy until Saturday, October 12. This widespread event transforms wine shops, wine bars, and restaurants into meeting places and places for storytelling, centered around a single protagonist: a young and vibrant wine, an authentic expression of the Bolgheri terroir.
Founded in 1983 in the heart of the Tuscan coast, Le Macchiole is now one of the leading producers of the Bolgheri appellation. The winery has built its identity through research and appreciation of the terroir, creating wines that combine elegance, precision, and personality. In this context, Bolgheri Rosso represents the gateway to the world of Le Macchiole: convivial and immediate, capable of expressing the complexity of the terroir in a fresh and fruity way.
Born in 2004 as a project conceived in the vineyard, Bolgheri Rosso is made from select parcels—mostly young vineyards—that contribute to its energy and freshness. The varietals used— Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah —form the classic Bordeaux blend typical of the area, reinterpreted in the winery’s unmistakable style.
The 2023 vintage marks a return to essentiality: a dynamic, balanced, and versatile red that combines complexity and drinkability and is a natural accompaniment to everyday dining.
