Here are the 26 Italian wines Ambassadors at Casa Italia in Milan Cortina 2026

Luciano Buonfiglio, President of CONI: “The wines selected represent the authentic and diverse expression of Made in Italy, which we want to highlight at Milano Cortina 2026, thanks to the MUSA project.”

Twenty-six wines reflect the great mosaic of biodiversity, representing the main Italian regions.

These are the Made in Italy labels that will be the protagonists of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games (6 – 22 February 2026), present on the wine list of MUSA , the hospitality house set up in Casa Italia (Triennale in Milan, Galleria Farsetti in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Aquagranda in Livigno).

The LT Wine & Food Advisory team , supported by Luciano Ferraro , selected the wines on behalf of CONI according to guidelines that highlight the main denominations and native grape varieties, representing the entire Italian wine economy, from the major national players to the cooperative world and small producers. Each label will be an ambassador for our country before an international audience who will be able to “taste” the excellent biodiversity of the entire regional winemaking landscape that makes Italy unique, along with its cuisine, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Luciano Buonfiglio, CONI President : This exquisite selection of wines allows us to toast in the best possible way to the return of the Olympic Games to our country, 20 years after Turin 2006. The wines chosen represent the authentic and diverse expression of Made in Italy, which we want to highlight at Milano Cortina 2026, thanks to the MUSA project. This is a fundamental added value for giving voice, within Casa Italia, to the uniqueness of our tradition through the excellence of Italian products .”

Luciano Ferraro , a leading wine journalist, supported the LT Wine & Food Advisory team in their selection: “As with the selection featured at Casa Italia at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the labels on display at Casa Italia for the Milan-Cortina Olympics best convey the richness, variety, and progress made by Italian wine in recent years. The regions are represented by large producers or small winemakers who share a passion for bringing their wines to the world, in a constant challenge to conquer new markets and new consumers.”

Lorenzo Tersi , CEO of LT Wine & Food Advisory: “In the world of international sporting events, wine acts as a tool for promoting Made in Italy in a mosaic of representation that encompasses the entire winemaking landscape, from large groups to niche producers. Celebratory wine on these occasions thus becomes a moment of cultural diplomacy, conveying the territory where it is born, the history of that label, Italian savoir faire—in short, its uniqueness and authenticity.”
