The new edition of Anteprima VitignoItalia is approaching, the inaugural event that precedes the eponymous event in Naples, a point of reference for the entire national wine sector for twenty years. In anticipation of VitignoItalia 2026, scheduled for May 17, 18, and 19, 2026, at the Stazione Marittima in Naples, over 100 companies from across Italy will meet against the backdrop of the Gulf of Naples on Monday, November 24, ready to liven up the spaces of the Hotel Excelsior , in the heart of the Neapolitan capital.

The day will feature tastings of over 500 labels representing the most interesting wine regions across the country, with a special focus on Campania, the undisputed stars of the event each year. From the finest sparkling wines to the white wines of Northern Italy, the red wines of Central Italy, and the signature wines of Southern Italy, Anteprima VitignoItalia offers a discovery of the finest Italian wines before enthusiasts and a select audience of professionals, including journalists and industry professionals, whose presence helps cement the event as one of the most popular and recognized events in Italy.

We’re ready to kick off the new edition of Anteprima VitignoItalia,” says Maurizio Teti, Director of VitignoItalia . ” Like every year, we bring together major producers, adding new, top-notch companies to our event’s long-standing presence, with the goal of showcasing the extraordinary diversity of Italy’s winemaking heritage. This achievement is possible thanks to the teamwork of the Campania Region’s Department of Agriculture, which has always been at the forefront of supporting our event, and of ICE for its international support. This diversity extends not only to the lineup of participating companies but also to the structure of our event: we’re confirming the two time slots, a hallmark of our format, to foster dialogue between companies and enthusiasts, and to offer targeted opportunities for discussion with industry professionals and buyers.”

And it is precisely to the press and operators that the first event of the day on Monday is dedicated, hosted in the elegant rooms of the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia in Naples in Via Partenope 46 from 11.30 am. The twentieth anniversary tasting, a special masterclass (by invitation only) to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the event through a selection of the best Campania labels from the 2005 vintage. And more: discover Taurasi between the Riserva “Vigna Quintodecimo” from the Quintodecimo winery and the “Pago dei fusi” from Terredora di Paolo , then arrive on the slopes of Vesuvius with ” Vigna del Vulcano,” the white Lacryma Christi from Villa Dora, and finally, in the heart of the Caserta area with “Vigna Camarato,” the Falerno del Massico Rosso from Villa Matilde . This year’s Anteprima VitignoItalia will once again welcome international journalists, including journalists from France, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Germany, thanks to a collaboration with ICE. This initiative will bring leading communications professionals from the sector to discover the most authentic expressions of Italian wine, not only during the event but also directly at the wineries. This year, the educational tour, scheduled for the day after the event, will focus on the Campi Flegrei area, an extraordinarily rich territory, home to native grape varieties that tell the story and true identity of Campania’s viticulture.

Like every year, Anteprima VitignoItalia will open its doors to industry professionals, sommeliers, and the press from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a second round for enthusiasts from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. These two dedicated slots aim to engage all the key players in the Italian wine scene and combine the great wines on offer with the finest Italian food.
